Bradford has signed prop Masi Matongo on loan from Hull for the remainder of the season.
The 25-year-old has made 59 appearances for Hull since his first team debut in 2015.
Matongo is vying to make his Bulls debut on this weekend’s trip to York.
Bradford manager John Kear said: “We had agreed on a deal before the deadline, but due to Covid issues in Hull he was unable to join until this week.
“He had a long injury similar to Matty Dawson-Jones, but he is returning to full fitness and with a player of that quality, of that kind, if we can bring him here and help him regain his fitness and bring that quality that he with his goal ball then will do us good in the world.
“It is an agreement that is good for all parties, we will benefit from it because he will be here until the end of the season and in the playoffs, every game will improve and he will be part of the team that will go to York – whether he plays or not we will have to wait and see. “.
Hull FC manager Brett Hodgson said: “We are delighted that Masi is back from his long injury – he has worked tirelessly throughout the year to get back in shape and able to play again.
“His playing time has been limited in the last year or so due to cruel luck with injuries, so this is a good opportunity for him to play and get a few much needed minutes to his credit as he gets back to full. fitness . “
Meanwhile, Bradford has loaned winger or center Reece Hamlett to Swinton for the remainder of the championship season. Hamlett spent time with Lions on loan in May.
Danny Brough returns to the Bradford squad for this weekend’s clash with York after missing his last eight games with a bicep tear he picked up against Newcastle in early June.
